Noah’s Ark– Noah’s Ark At The Lodge began in 2010 as a grass-roots, community effort led by Lorilee to address the lack of service available to the poor and needy in the NE Washington area.

Noah’s Ark At The Lodge Mission Statement:We provide transportation of clothing, household needs, furniture and food to needy families who do not have the ability to acquire the needed items due to being elderly, handicapped or disadvantaged. We provide emergency temporary housing for pregnant women while they wait for suitable accommodations. We transport elderly, handicap individuals and pregnant teens to services. We also distribute essential baby items, clothing and other essentials to families in need.
Our Objectives: To work with disadvantaged individuals and families in our area, regardless of ethnicity, religion or political beliefs and to encourage them to help themselves.
Our Vision: To come together as a community, providing strength and a hand up to those who may be less fortunate or who may be disadvantaged.

The GodSquad– Who do you call when you are in distress? Jesus of course. 😉 and then you call us. Are you a pregnant teen in the Steven’s County area? Are you a disabled parent or do you have a child with disabilities? Are you an elderly person without many resources? Hi! I am Lorilee of the GodSquad… How can I help you?

Colville’s Little Angel Gardening Club Mission Statement– a new program was launched in 2013 to reconfigure 2 acres of property at the lodge to grow food for 4 local food banks.
Mission Statement: To provide a local source of organically grown fruits and vegetables to be given to the food banks, educate young people and adults about the benefits of gardening, and cultivate a community of individuals committed to sustainable land use for the benefit of others.
Our Objectives: To facilitate food production: With support of our volunteers, we encourage people to give back to the community by sharing garden produce, knowledge, and our dedication with others. Everything produced in the gardens are given to our local food banks.
Sustainable gardening techniques: We encourage organic, non-chemical growing techniques to provide healthy and organic food within healthy organic soil.
Our Vision: To come together as a community to feed people who may be less fortunate.
Our Values:
Collaboration- The collaboration between local food banks, our volunteers and Noah’s Ark create the right environment for a community of change.
Courage- The courage to do what is right, utilizing land that would otherwise be wasted space to feed the hungry.
Innovation- bringing people together to make their community a better place for all of our residents.
Respect- Respecting the earth by minimizing our footprints. Noah’s Ark does not use pesticides or chemicals of any sort, we strive to work with the land to produce gardens that are organic.

Empowering Angels– we will hold classes that will show domestic violence victims how to apply makeup that will cover up the physical scars so that they feel empowered enough to get out there and make their life happen without worrying about what people are thinking. This program enables us to help people connect with local area resources that can help them through tough situations.
